Cheerleading
Mancelona Varsity Cheer has just recently became a sport as of last year. The team does so much to show school spirit!
They also do so much to fundraise for their team. They host bake sales, they did a fundraiser with popcorn and they plan on doing so many more!
Back in October of 2023, these girls hosted a youth cheer clinic for grades K-8 to learn some of the cheers and practice their tumbling skills.
These girls encourage you to become a cheerleader in high school. The whole school has noticed a boost of spirit from these girls!
Bake Sales

The Mancelona Cheerleading team does bake sales randomly throughout the school year on Varsity game days. They have sweet treats priced from 50 cents to 1 dollar! Whatever treats that they have left over from the school day, they sell them all throughout the game that night! All the money raised from bake sales goes straight to the cheerleaders and is used for new mats, new pom poms, new uniforms and new warm ups.
Youth Cheer Clinic
The Ironmen Cheerleaders did their first ever Youth Cheer Clinic during the beginning of October. This was for kids K - 8 that are interested in being cheerleaders! Everything that these kids learned, they got to show off during the Homecoming parade, and the whole 2nd quarter of the game.
